During the construction of the Lake Arcania Fortifications moat, the Laborers heard mysterious whispers from the dirt, warning that in order for the Lake Arcania community to prosper, they must cease digging.
After the completion of the moat, children and animals who wander nearby often hear voices from below. One child pled the community to stop digging as well, implying that such work was causing pain for the source of The Whispers.
