In Toosehn, the Seasons are marked by somewhat reliable climactic patterns. For example, in the Lake Arcania area:
- Due to Toosehn Astronomy, Summer days are long and hot, with little reprieve around the solstice. Any clusters of rainclouds dissipate quickly into steam under the intense midday heat.
- Autumn remains quite dry but gains a crisp and biting edge, with powerful windstorms making tornados and tidal flooding serious concerns in some areas. Leaves turn brilliant shades but are immediately plied from tree branches by the strong breeze.
- Winters are generally mild, but categorized by frequent snow flurries that leave the ground consistently dusted. Bodies of water gain a razor thin freeze-over, which often results in layers compounded into crackling stacked sheets that crash down the Siltstream River as it is periodically dammed and released.
- The pleasant Spring is hallmarked by nourished, snowmelt-fed mud and is when most of the farming is done, before Summer once again turns the soil to dust and bakes the crops.
